Although if you say no plz i would lover to here your answer... and same for yes. One last thing... do you find that has years past our systems get worse and worse like justice? and our health care is getting worse?? What about us the people are we taking our freedom for granted and wanting things to be our way instead of what is better for all of us as a nation??

Compared to most other countries, we are free. Are we as free as in the past? I'd say no. You mentioned anti-smoking laws-that's a good example. On the other hand, African-Americans no longer have to sit at the back of the bus! There have been gains and losses.
Here's a quot from Ben Franklin that you'll like, I'll bet:
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb discussing what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the decision."

Freedom was what we had before as not so much now. Freedom is the choice to be who and what you want to be, the choice of what to be, what to do. It is the choice of what you will eat in the morning, what you will wear the next day, and if you'll change the world. Why is it that our freedom is being taken away from us?? Just think about those poor little homeless children in Africa, not having the choice of eating, or not getting sick or being healthy. They don't know if they'll wake up as an only child or be an orphan! That is the freedom that has been denied from us since the '60s! E-mail me if you like my explanation- please do!

You can only be free if you have nothing left to lose.
There are freedoms and there are responsibilities. They go hand in hand.
Consider back in 1963 to 1976 when we had the draft. Young men were forced to fight in a war that killed over 50,000 each year. Their option was to leave home for another country forever or fight. Has freedom gotten worse than that?

I do agree our freedom is waning at the sake of political correctness, but no more than any other country. I have a libertarian stance on most things - If you are not doing something that endangers others or yourself...well why not...It all has just gotten out of control with all the sub groups and yelling.

yup, your freedom is slowely but surely being taken away. One thing at a time. That one of the reasons I got out of that country the other is the economy so bad there that I know some highly skiled people out of work for several years and I didnt wont to end up like them.

It relies upon on how literal you favor to get with the definition. actually, going that deep into the translation is a philosophical question extremely than a non secular or political one. If we favor to get really literal, we won't ever be loose. We continuously will be enslaved by utilizing air, or water, or involuntary body purposes like respiratory or blinking. besides the undeniable fact that the easy use definitions are: a million.the ability or top to act, talk, or imagine as one needs without impediment or restraint. 2.Absence of subjection to overseas domination or despotic authorities. regarding your question of "who's it that does diverse favours on us when we were useless, makes preparations for our food." that would want to correctly be your mothers and fathers or mum or dad that raised you. human beings do no longer live on each of the time international huge. you're fortunate.
