Why does everyone hate us liberals so much?

Why do you hate me without actually thinking about my opinions?
i am frustrated with silly laws, not the ones keeping us safe.
im frustrated with our governments desire to invade other countries, not mind their own business.

yeah us! america was a revolutionary country, but now were imperialists with two attemps of incvasion under our belts. also, it cant be the home of the free when people arent allowed to do what will make them happy (ie gay marridge), and hurt noone else.

and seriously, why do you hate liberals so much?

liberals are not the same as democrats, and just cuz our candidates suck doesnt mean we all do

and we dont all wanna raise taxes. they suck.

We do not live unto ourselves. America's history and strength is built on a strong military. During the WWII war years, America supported the military with rations, war bonds, etc. People believed and sacrificed back at home for the soldier defending your freedom. Today, we have MoveOn.org, ACLU, and other groups that think that the Constitution gives them a "right" or "freedom" to say anything without any consequences. Like it or not, America was founded on principles and values that liberals scoff, make fun and discount as unintelligent. As a nation, we are paying a price for poor choices.

To finally answer your question Liberals are people as anyone else. It is a liberal’s way of thinking, ideals and lack of values that are the problem. Sorry to be so blunt, but "home of the free" is not marriage between Steve and Steve or Jill and Jill. Liberals want to push this lifestyle crap in my children's face at school as diversity. Liberals ideas of laws are making everyone pay for and individual’s wrong decision instead of the individual paying the piper. And lastly, how soon too many forget 911. We were attacked. I urge you to go to YouTube. com and type in "concentration camps." Take a trip back into history. Tell me that America should have not taken action to destroy the Nazis??? We are fed a line today that "nice" talks will change the mind of our enemies. Would not have worked with Hitler and will not work today.

it is not purely "liberals" who have self assurance that international Opinion is against us. Many conservatives and moderates will inform you an identical ingredient. in case you have traveled everywhere interior the international these days, and you tell human beings you're an American, the 1st issues out of their mouths are "why did you men invade Iraq?" observed by way of "why did you vote for George W. Bush?". What you're showing above are purely financial numbers. maximum immigrants come to a rustic because of the fact they suspect that they and their young infants will do lots better economically there. Well, I don't hate Liberals, just their ideas. They are for taxing me and everyone else who works for a living, and yes I do hate abortion and I don't feel like I should have to help that single mother who is single usually by choice and keeps having those babies for the income it brings her. Since she has so many children, she can't work and pay for child care so I get to pay for her hospital bills to have those children and for those children. The best way to help her is to pay for birth control pills, then she won't need an abortion or the food stamps, Medicaid, etc. I didn't have more children than I could take care of and even though I was divorced and did support two of them for a while with very little child support, I worked and paid my own way. It can be done. I don't feel like I should have to pay to raise anyone else's children. I would really like to get to retire someday. I do not believe that marriage should be between two men or two women so a lot of our ideas are different for sure. Like I said, I don't hate you, I just don't like what you stand for.

I don't hate liberals at all. I think many are sincerely wanting what is best (I just think they are 180 degrees wrong on the path towards best)
I do dislike those who are just ******* in their commentaries on Y/A (from both sides, but I confess I'm slightly more irked by those I disagree with)

I do think about your opinions... and I do agree with some...but for the most part... however well intentioned you may be...I think your way is not the path to reaching what is best.

Why are you reinforcing an idiot label that obviously has no purpose but to inflame the receiver? Honestly, it's a game, and you continue to play it when you say they get the most satisfaction from it. Clearly there is no purpose for it BUT to get under people's skins and deflect the real arguments that they don't want to answer and if they did, would make them look like crooked fools. Ignore them, and they will stop. It's a psychological game.
Besides, you're exaggerating. EVERYONE is NOT a crooked conservative. In fact, they are fewer of them than there are of the other side. They are just good at making it sound like they are.

Conservatives themselves are more liberal today than they were 100 years ago.
True... because of the tollerance for SOCIAL programs.
They could have abolished social gov't programs... but yet chose not too. Hmmmm.... perhaps because they are a good idea?

Society over time... will become more Socialist.
Its a natural way of doing things.
Unfortunately... the worst thing about socialism.... or more liberal societies... is INEFFECIENCIES!

Unions..... social services all cost money... and people try to reap more benifits than deserved.

It depends on if you are a large "L" Liberal or small "l" liberal. A liberal believes that people are basically good and can govern themselves. Thoma Jefferson is a good example of a liberal. A Liberal in todays parlance is actually a socialist or a communist that thinks that people are in capable of taking care of their own needs are require the government to force them to do the right thing. Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy are examples of Liberals.

I love liberals and I hate Liberals.

I don't hate you, I don't understand your willingness to let terrorists murder and kill without one flicker of response. To hear people like Michael Moore tell the Mayor of NY that 9-11 was no big deal. To hear liberals,not just the ones here but members of congress put forth the idea that it was an inside job. To have Democrats vote to use force, then renege and say they didn't really mean it.
To blame Bush for everything from 9-11, to the crash of the Columbia, to the tidal wave in Asia and Katrina. For nothing but political reasons.
To blame Bush for 9-11 and forget that Bill Clinton was well aware of the threat and was even warned about Osama's plan to use airliners as suicide planes. Instead of owning up to it, the Dems covered it up and even sent in Sandy Burgar to steal documents.
To accuse Republicans of a culture of Corruption and completely ignore the corruption in your own ranks. You want to throw stones clean out your own house first.
And one other thing, during the 90s a resolution was passed to remove Saddam from power, passed and signed by Clinton. Nearly every Democrat in the 90s told me that Saddam was a threat to the peace of the region and to our National Security. But they backpetalled right after Bush got into office. So please don't tell me you can't understand why we feel betrayed.

The republicans worked a strategy in the 90's to win power through a campaign of fear mongering and lies. They set up 100's of radio and TV stations that spread anti democrat/liberal lies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This was a brilliant strategy and worked. The only hitch in the git-a-long is that the republicans can't govern. We now have the most corrupt government in the world.and even less intelligent voters have finally caught on.

I can't speak for "everyone" but i will speak for myself. I dislike most liberals because they say they support our troops but say only bad things and hinder our progress in Iraq which most of you know absolutely nothing about because you haven't been their and believe everything you hear in the news. If you really support our troops like you say you do stop with the protests that isn't supporting us by doing that you are saying that you don't want us to fight for your freedom and you'd rather be living the life of an Iraqi well if that's what you want get out of our country. Because of liberals are borders are always open and the door swings both ways. You are free to leave and won't be stopped and definitely not missed. Try actually supporting the troops that are fighting to let you be a jerk to us. Support means being supportive not critical and demeaning.
