flea markets, local arts and crafts shows, take samples around to local shops that would sell the kinds of items you make and see if they would take them on a comission basis. Set up your own website and advertise your wares there.

I would suggest joinning Apsense. I sell womens undergarments online ebay and I added it to that. You could think about getting your own website.

If you have some nice things to sell, try etsy.com. It's a bit more upscale.
