A day is defined as how long it takes for a planet to rotate around its axis. A circle has 360°. Therefore, in one day the earth rotates 360°.

1 Day = 24 hours
1 Day = 360° of rotation
24 hours = 360° of rotation
1 hour = 15° of rotation

Actually the earth rotates ~361 degrees in a 24 hour period. ~15 degrees in an hour. A sidereal day (23.934 hours) is when the earth rotates 360 degrees.

It's 15 degrees (remember to include units). The formula is 360 degrees divided by 24 hours. (360/24=15 degrees).

The earth is a sphere that rotates once in 24 hours. You can figure out the first part of your question from that statement.

The latter part of your question that is about solar noon and longitude is unintelligible. You will have to ask your teacher to explain these concepts to you.

Good luck!

HOW MANY DAYS IN YEAR ? 365 DAYS. HOW MANY DAYS IN LEEP YEAR ? 366 DAYS.
THERE FORE ( 365+365+365+366=1461/4=365.25)
THERE FORE THE EARTH ROTATE IN ONE DAY = 365.25 DEGREES.
ONE DAY = 24 HOURS = 365.25 DEGREE
ONE HOUR = 365.25/24 = 15.21875 DEGREE
