I always thought it was "never trust a young conservative or an old liberal, both go against human nature". I cannot verify my source, as it was probably word of mouth.

Angry libtard bent out of shape who goes to great lengths to disprove quote... Let's see; that's a sign of mental retardation. You're a delusional little commie, aren't you? EDIT: tommy boy, you couldn't run mental circles around a ground hog, and I doubt you could even b!tchslap a frenchman. Let's see, you post ridiculous criticisms on yahoo, you talk down to even people on your own side, and you can't form a coherent argument if you tried. Maybe you've got a good point using the "===============" to separate your rants, but other than that, you're just posting the same insane little rants over and over again, just worded differently. In truth, you're a pathetic worm, and I would rather just moon you, but you'd probably get an erection. EDIT (again...): So proving someone is wrong by pointing out that a commonly used quote is mis-attributed would prove to be a major accomplishment for you then, correct? Give yourself a pat on the back buddy. Don't forget to take your Methylphenidate, excitable boy. By the way, Churchill was still a Conservative when he helped kick Kraut @ss.

What did Winston Churchill ever do to you? Oh, that's right, he only stopped the most evil dictator the world has ever seen and stood alone when all odds were against him. A guy who does that deserves to have a quote that perhaps he didn't actually live out. I think you're over-analyzing the quote as well. The quote really is just a comment on human nature rather than actual political beliefs.
Interpret however you want it, but don't be hating on Churchill man! If it wasn't for him, we could all be speaking German right now!

I have no idea wether or not Churchill ever said it, but whoever said it was absolutely right. Why are even more clueless Liberals suddenly interested in what warmongering Churchill had to say? I thought they wrere all gung ho for peace and brotherhood and good will to men.

I don't think any one person said it anyway.
I've heard some version of this quote in different languages, so I think it is just a common saying, shared by many people all over the world.
It just makes you wonder how many historical "facts" are actually true...

and i herd it as being
if your a Conservative at 20 you have no heart , if your a liberal at 40 you have no brain.
fake or not it shows a regular trend in the human condition of becoming more conservative as you get older. and true it is because it can be used for allot more than just politics.
maybe Winnie didn't say it , but it is a accurate assessment of the human creature

Easy Travolta, don't try to bring facts into this. As long as it sounds good, the right will use it. Or if it rhymes then it's even better.

I've always heard "Anyone who is 20 and not a liberal has no heart; anyone who is 40 and is not a conservative has no brain". There's NOTHING you can do to change the fact the millions attribute this quote to him. Furthermore, it doesn't change the truth of the maxim either.
