Where can I meet other Au pairs from the Peninsula area?

I just moved to Menlo Park a wee ago and would like to have friends that are in the same situation as I am.. I am a finnish student, and here as an Au Pair..

my experience as a nanny- in nashville, tn- has been that if you take the kids to daytime activites (the parks, the library story times, museums, etc) chances are great that you'll run into LOTS of other nannies/au pairs. Just listen in on conversations and you'll figure out pretty quickly which kids are with mommy and which are with their nannies! Good Luck!
