i let him outside for a bit to catch up some florida sun while i was changing his tank and he was playing in the grass...i washed him off with the hose before i put him back and i used the hose water for his tank water and i forgot to add the water treatment and now he wont eat. im worried

feel the water yourself. does it feel at all cold to you? it should feel about room temp. they won't eat when it is cold. the temp should be about 80-85 for a little fellow and 75 for an adult.

It may be more from the change in water temperature than the water treatment (dechlorinator, right?). Try to make sure you use the same temp water as he was in before.
