get drafted......have a coach that cheats.....win no matter what. What the heck does this have to do with football?

I'm not asking this to be mean...it just seems like the wrong place to ask.

The current prevalent view of patriotism in this country is that you must blindly believe in Americas superiority.....and mercilessly attack all who might express a divergent opinion. One must essentially become a robot that waves the Red, White and Blue, never questions authority......and never, ever admits to any wrong doing. You must also love baseball and apple pie. You must hate the Dixie Chicks...and never buy a foreign car. You must also promote intolerance, and listen to Toby Keith. At least, that is what passes for "patriotism" around my neck of the woods. Probably gonna piss some people off......but tough crap. Patriotism (the modern view)...and by extension, Nationalism...is just more bigotry that is the key to 90% of all the wars happening right now.

American Patriot. Serve your country. The people whom I call patriotic have served in the military during a time of war.
If you meant how to become a New England Patriot, which is a more appropriate question for this board, be good in college football, be smart, have good character and integrity. Be prepared to work very very hard
