Girls on a Boy Football team?

Question

Do you think girls should be aloud to play on a boy's tackle football team? and Why?

I was on my schools boy's football team for 2 years (offensive and defensive lineman) I loved. it
what so you think and why?

Well if it's a boys football team then a girl joins cause there is no other team then it becomes a coed team!

and yes i do realize i did get grabbed there sometimes usually not on purpose cause w/ a helmet on the other team couldnt tell i was a chick

I would say yes but at the higher levels if a 6'4" 250lb linebacker hit you you would be done.

She should be able to play. If she has the strength and stamina to keep up with the boys, then she will do well. The biggest problem that I could foresee might be that of the Coaches and of course the players picking on her. If she was captain of her team the past 3 years, she might get a lot of support from her teammates though. Other problem might also be locker rooms in High School football games. She obviously will have to be in her own area unless a women's locker room is available for her. Otherwise, I hope she does go for it. Would be a great story to hear someday!

Im ok with it as l;ong as she is physically able to perform the specific duties of her position.

Most girls I have read about in HS Football have all been very big girls and always a Lineman (meaning she is very big in the first place!) or a kicker (who see's very little action in high school football). As for that girl who (NEVER) played for that college, she never saw any action and was used as a publicity stunt to get the schools name out there.(must not have worked since I cant remember the name of that school!)

When I see a few play QB, RB, and WR, FS or CB,and do it with the speed and finese of a boy, then I will be sold on the idea of girls playing football with the boys.

On a little league or maybe even a junior high team it could be possible. But a high school or college team? No way. At a early age young boys and girls are physically about equal. Starting about early teens that changes dramatically. A girl playing on a high school football team would get physically dominated and probably hurt severely. Even if that girl was some 200 pound amazon woman, she still would lack the physical strength to compete even on a high school level.

No, they should not be allowed to play on a boys tackling football team. A girl can get hurt real bad in football, and it might ruin her chances for later in life, to have children, because her reproductive organs would get slammed around.
It is a certainity that a girls boobs and privates would get grabbed, if the boys on the other team knew that she was a girl, because in football, it would be legal to grab wherever you want to. I played football, and I know how rough it is.

I think it is cool, last two years I forget what college team had a female kicker but I'm not sure NFL is ready yet, maybe soon!

You realize that boys will be grabbing you in places that might make you uncomfortable in order to tackle/block you, etc...

if the girl has the talent to play foot ball, then heck yeah.
also boys are aloud to do cheer leading.

why don't high schools just have girls football teams like girls lacross, volleyboll, softball and all those other sports

yeah i think its great, i wanted to do it but i was one to big ( wieght wise) and two broke my arm before it started. There are a lot of great women that play. and i am pround of you for doing that! showing how tuff we are.
