Once upon a day ago
i swore i'd end it all
I had the rope with wich i'd hang;
But then i heard your call
You told me i was beautiful
A line i've solemn heard
You told me i was worth much more
My sickness you've now cured
Thank you for your lines of love
Please know you've saved a life
Now i'm ready to move on
You've minimized my strife

Well Angel some of the better news I've heard from this site. I'm glad Dondi was able to help you...stay strong. This should show that in many ways you are never alone no matter how dark it gets. I'm so happy you are still with us.

It's a beautiful poem. Very strong emotionally and verbally. You should have it published so that everyone can see it. But please get a copyright first and don't put your poetry online. It would be terrible if someone took your poem as their own when they can't understand it like you can.

It's beautiful, as are you. I deeply respect Dondi from seeing his answers here. Age has its benefits, among them seeing and encouraging life and beauty in others. Hope he reads it.
