I am a pretty quiet person and I get along well with most people. I keep to myself most of the time and have few friends. I like it that way. But lots of people tell me about things that are going on in their lives that are really quite personal. They tell me about their problems and things they have done. They tell me they have been unfaithful to their spouses, about who's sleeping with whom, and one person confessed to me they were gay and hasn't told anyone in their family yet. The thing is I don't know these people that well. I don't tell much about myself to them but they reveal a lot to me. I wonder why this is. Thanks

YOU are trustworthy and that's a plus. There are very "few" folk that are worth one's time. Now, if you have problems, wouldn't you rather go to someone like YOU? If you don't have a viable job, then this might just be your "calling." In any event, you should look into this as a possible contributory vocation. I am serious. I bet you could become quite wealthy. Folk don't like to talk with folk whom they see within the realm of family and other familiar faces. YOU are different. There's something about you that people "trust." I wish you much success. Peace, Love and God Bless.

It is because you obviously seem approachable and trustworthy.

I have the same "problem."

Now I am majoring in psychology and plan to get my doctorate and open a practice. I'm so excited!

You must come off as trusting....little do they know you come on Y!A and spill their beans.
