Yes, i certainly would, but I'd try to do it politely.
And my socks are all in the wash, I just put in the softener.
But tomorrow, I'll be wearing my white and red horizontal striped socks.

Are you using the word 'stunk' metaphorically or smellgastically? If you sucked badly at anything, I would inform you in a subtle way.
I don`t happen to be adorning any darn socks at the moment.
I gave up on trying to make pairs after washing and drying them. I have only white ones now.
I only wear the 'holy' ones on Sunday.

I wouldn't tell YOU that you stunk because I don't know you.. But I would tell a family member or close friend if they did..

honestly, no but I would get someone else to tell you or if I didn't know you I would probably join the people making fun of you behind your back.
And I'm not wearing any socks but I have to add that I got a pedicure on Sunday and my tonails are orangey red.
