Let me give you a hint....

The denominator can be factored. (notice the pattern?) When you factor the denominator, you'll notice, one of the factor is identical to your numerator. Therefore, they cancel each other out.

Now, you can plug x=2 right into the equation and find the limit.

Another solution if you have learned derivatives is to take the derivative of the function when you get 0/0 initially

So you would have ended up with 1/2x, which would have gave you the same limit as 1/(x+2)
