the deal that they had was about the wages that Jacob will get after serving Laban for more than 14 years...
the deal was that Jacob will get all the speckled or spotted and dark colored male and female goats from among the ownership of Laban that will represent his wages and he will continue to work for Laban by tendering all his goats..
Jacob was bested him by being able to bore all the goats speckled and spotted and dark colors

Jacob was tricked by Laban when he worked for seven years in order to marry Rachel but instead Leah his older daughter was given to him, so he has to work for another 7 years in order to marry Rachel...then he was also tricked with the wages he should have received from Laban for ten times

hope i gave you the answers you want :)

Jacob had first seen Rachel and fell in love with her but she was younger than her sister Leah. Jacob and Laban made adeal that if Jacob would work 7 years for him he would give Rachel as his bride. After 7 years Jacob was married but when he woke up the next morning he found Leah in his bed . He therefore worked another 7 years for Rachel. After awhile oit was because of Jacob that Laban was a success and whatever Jacob did he prospered better than Laban despite Laban's trickery.

This is a good online bible and you can read many versions.
You just need to read the passage. It's easy to understand.

Why don't you read the text. It's pretty clear.
