Depends on who gets elected and what they do with that given power.

It can go either way.
Someone like Ron Paul can help us rewind time a bit to a point where government feared its people and was kept in check. Someone like Dr. Ron Paul MUST be elected to direct us back to our constitutional roots before the UN laws supercede our own. In this case, the world would be much better. Countries would love America, and America would trade with countries which behave in manner which we find acceptable (unlike Red China).
Someone like Hillary Clinton can help make government maintain or gain weight like a morbidly obease, immobile child that will live untill it has a massive heart attack and floods the room with stools and intestines. At that point the room is taken over by illegal aliens who eat the remains, and literally takeover the room therefore not being illegal anymore but to claim the room as their own. Here, the world will be a horrible place.

There seem to be no good candidates out there so far, so let's flush them ALL down the proverbial water closet, and start over!

theres only one uncontrolled candidate congressman Ron Paul hes the last chance "but" first he would have to get through all the dirty tactics of the media as most of it is owned by people whos interest is to keep him out , through all this he has to try and win the republican party leadership .
then if he gets that far hes got to still contend with the media , the peoples distrust of the republican party because of recent years , the voting machines which we have seen can easily be rigged , and then even if he won it the man would probably be assasinated .
at least the guy has the balls to do what is right and give it a go , more people need to realise who there voting for, there policies and not how pretty they look lol .

The water closet will be flushed. I thing someone may actually use some Saniflush or Snobowl and clean out the entire bowl. But Sh** happens and people get pissed off and it won't be long before the bowl is dirty again.

More likely, it'll just clog the drain & overflow.
There are very powerful forces in the world that will stop at nothing to continue current trends. If the general public is left to assume the task of restoring the checks and balances - or subsequently fails to, few will likely see it as an improvement. A statesman of honor and courage is needed to truly lead the citizenry, not follow the money.

Which election? What election? Ah! I see the Yankees are due one. Why do you not put Arnie in there? Fading second-rate film stars make good presidents don't they? Witness Ronnie Reagan. Shame John Wayne is dead, or we could all have a laugh.

Even flushing the water closet is better than leaving it full of crap!

As someone once said (and I really wish I could remember who it was!)..............
'If voting changed anything, it would be abolished'.
The status quo will be maintained - the rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer, there will still be the haves, and the have nots - and there will still be those who hope for, and work for a better world.

Of course it won't change anything. You must be twelve-years-old or something to think that changing Presidents will change the world. We've had decades of opportunity and look at the mess we're in now.
