I don't know who these "most people" are, but I would think being a 'foreigner' would be a side issue if you really loved this person. Every marriage has its own unique challenges! Interfaith, interracial, inter-national....these relationships can be especially trying! But if you love each other, you can make it work. So don't worry about what 'most people' say. Just go with your heart and if you have a solid foundation, it won't matter what country either of you is from. You'll make your home together, wherever you are.

that is something that you have to decide on....
If I see someone who is married to a foreigner most of the time I think that the foreigner is using the US citizen just to get into the USA to get a green card. Reason being: I have seen it happen 3 times to people I work with.....
So NO way do I think it is OK or a good thing.

Depends, did you actually meet her, have a relationship with her and now engaged, or did you get her from a mail order catalog?

Be fore warned, some women in some countries are so desperate to get out, they will do whatever it takes and lie to you
in order to get to the UK or the states.
