At first i was really scared but I met this guy and i guess he kind of rushed me. The only reason i was really scared was because i had never even stuck a tampon up me! (sad i know.)
but, after he popped my cherry id say i would of been ready for sex forever.
Im not telling you to be a slut, but whenever the person your with feels right, and so does the time, i say go for it. DON'T FORGET PROTECTION! :D

You're never ready to have sex for the first time just as you're never ready to have children... This was a huge issue for me because I didn't want to "give it up" to just anybody but then when I was seventeen I fell deeply in love with this guy and started dating and all of the sudden one night... it just happened. I was so scared I was shaking. After a couple of good months it all went to hell because, you know, most of the times it always does! But I never regretted having him be the first guy because now I realise he was a good guy and I was in love and we made love, not just had sex, which was what I wanted. It depends on whether you want the whole romantic setting thing or explore your sexuality. Sex doesn't mean he loves you more or less. Just be sure that what you choose is what you want, and use protection every time. You can only be sure about what reasons you have to do the things you do, and never about others', so if you want to do it go for it with responsabilty (wear condoms) and if you don't want to then don't let him put any sort of pressure on you. Just look inside and see if you want to.
(I assume you're over 12, though!)

When I was 20. But little did I know I was not actually ready. Just horny and in love. Did you know there is actual proof that the area of the brain responsible for our most important decision-making isn't fully developed in most people until about the age of 22? Sure explains a lot.

Normally you dont just realise it , you just get to the point while laying beside the 1 you care about and it just happens.
There really is no time that anyone realises their ready they just think they are which is normally age 13 /14 when your hormones go into over drive.

I wasn't ready the first time. I wasn't really ready until I met my husband and knew he was the one. We built a solid relationship and took it slow. When I was ready, I initiated and we took it slow. It was very....perfect.

I can't say that I was ready... I was horny, my friends were doing it, my boyfriend wanted to do it, so I did it. It hurt like hell and I waish I hadn't done it because after that, every time we kissed it was "going somewhere" and the fun and innocense of making out seemed to be lost (with that boyfriend anyway).

I was a virgin bride, big mistake, wished I had not waited as it was truly awful. He left me after 3 years for a 16 year old.

i was way to young when I had sex and I do regret it now.
It was defiantly not the right time and to be honest I am not sure when the right time is....just don't rush into it.
