No, he didn't.

And don't believe the phony lying 9/11 conspirator's.

They're just bored with themselves and have too much time on their hands.

Heavens! No, he did not know!

It's a semantic argument, but you have to be more clear.

If you are saying that Bush knew that 9/11 would happen on 9/11, then I think that's a pretty easy point to debate. What could Bush possibly expect to gain by allowing jets to slam into the WTC and the Pentagon?

Those who support this argument would claim that he would allow this to happen because he wanted to go into Iraq and that the billions spent would benefit his rich cronies. However, Bush had campaigned AGAINST nation building in the first election, and while his friends might make a nice profit off the war, he personally wouldn't benefit. In fact, allowing al-Qaeda to have successful attacks would make him look like a weak President. Why would he want that?

Yes. The intelligence was clearly there, he chose not to act upon it.

During the summer of 2001, John Ashcroft and other govt. officials were warned not to fly commercial because of terrorists planning to use planes as missiles.
The night before 9/11, the hotel Bush was staying at had anti-aircraft missiles on top.

Do a search on youtube. There's videos documenting this all over the place.

Truth is, he wanted a war with Iraq before taking office. Why would he stop 9/11? It would have been much harder to sell an unprovoked attack against a sovereign country without 9/11. 9/11 could have easily been prevented with stepped up airport security, that's all.

Bush failed at everything he embarked upon as president and before he was president (i.e. as a businessman, baseball owner). I believe any competent president, Republican or Democrat could have and should have thwarted 9/11.

Put the 9-11 Official story in your search engine. It should be the story that says BUSH KNEW NOTHING.

Hard debate, good luck.

It is possible that Bush had read the intelligence brief that stated that Al Quaida was determined to attack on US soil, but it is not clear if they knew it would be on the WTC again, and I seriously doubt that they even thought about the possibility that they would use airliners as guided missles, and I guarantee that they didn't know the date or even a range of days.

navylifer, if what you said about Clinton was true, he deserves nothing less than being charged with treason and being executed asap. I hope that is wrong.

Not sure if he knew, but it has been fairly documented that then-President Clinton had information on the 9-11 attacks. Whether or not he passed this info to an "enemy" (at least through a democrats eyes), is something no one but he knows.

Bush had general information about Al Quada. He was aware that they were a threat, but didn't have specific information. it was something that president Clinton failed to give him. Clinton recieved a warning about a 9-11 type attack in 1996.He didn't believe the threat was real.

well, don't you think he would have acted differently when he

was first told on that day? what i mean is, if he had known

he would have probably had some type of reaction prepared

different then his actual reaction on that day. i feel he would

have been at the white house for example, instead of a a

school, anotherwords he would have chosen a setting that

made him look as powerful and decisive as possible.
