yeah, have you ever played "guess who" the board game? It has fip up tiles that face toward you and away from your opponent. Each of the tiles has a person, or in your case an animal. Then there are cards with each person (animal) on them, each player gets one card that the opponent doesn't get to see. You can ask one question each turn, such as "Does your person have glasses" or for you "Does your animal live on a farm?" Then if the opponent says "no my person doesn't wear glasses" then you flip down all of your tiles that show a person with glasses. So you could say "does your animal live on a farm?" "no" then flip down all the pigs, cows, chickens, etc. Or "Is your animal more thana one color?" "Yes" then flip down all animals that are just one color like a frog, beaver, the black cat, but not the calico. Understand? It's a reeally fun game, my kids and I played it forever!!!

I haven't ever heard of that book. But there is a game called "Pin the tail on the Donkey", which we play with the littlies. You get a piece of white cardboard, and draw an animal on it in profile(sideways). It could be any animal so long as it has a long tail. Then you draw a tail on a piece of cardboard, cut it out,and that's the animals tail.Nowadays we use blue tack instead of a drawing pin.The kid is shown the animal, then blindfolded and has to pin the tail where they think it will go.Nearest child gets a prize. You'll have to put cardboard on a easel or hang it somewhere they can reach.Hope this helps?
