It's obvious that this party is dead for tonight as the mod was killed. Also shouldn't my best man be asking questions related to the party as well and get the thing started himself since he is the one that's in charge of everything?

Yes, that's his job. Sorry he let you down love. There's still tomorrow though... He has time to make amends... He should think about good questions to ask and take the lead, that's the role he has to play.
