have you ever forgotten how to spell simple words?

i forgot how to spell "the" one day

i once had to think about how to spell my name...

Oh yes, isn't it fun.
You type the word,
it looks wrong
so,
you type it again,
then you click on spell check
&
it says the word is fine,
but it still doesn't look right.
So you get up go down the hallway
into the family room.
Hunt, search
climb on a ladder
to get to the top shelf,
finally find the
American Heritage Dictionary
that you used in college,
a hundred years ago.
Look up the word
and
the stupid word
still doesn't look right.

So back down the ladder,
into the computer room,
click onto Word Connect game,
type in the word and then...
And only then
does the word,
"Spanish" look correct.

Yes a lot. It's so weird and sometimes I'll spell words like "whether" and think that it looks so weird.

yeah i forget some times! once a guy asked my how to spell "the" one day & i looked & him like he was crazy O_o he spelled it D A "da" :)
