He is currently a member of the Miami Heat, who signed him August 9, 2007. Injuries have plagued his career and reduced his effectiveness over a decade of NBA service. He will wear jersey number 7 which will mark the 1st time in his pro career that he will not wear number 1.

Penny hardaway was a good player but for him to make a complete comeback is no. For him to be a productive guy, I'll say yes as long as he isn't injured. He can be that guy off the bench to dish 3 or 4 assists and give you tha 8-10 points ya need.

Yes he already did. He signed as a free agent to the Miami Heat for an unguaranteed contract last August 9, 2007. But if your saying the same quality of play he's playing in his yesteryears I think he could never get back to his old athletic self. But since he's a veteran his mere presence is a good thing, he could impart valuable play-off experiences he had in the past to his younger teammates.
Hope this helps.

He is with the Heat like the others have mentioned, but he won't be the same Penny, just a role player. Off topic, I used to collect and buy his trading cards before he got injured, and have now lost a few hundred bucks easily.
