Global warming is where the earth is heating up from the depletion of the ozone layer. Because of this, the earth's glaciers will melt and the ocean temperature will rise causing parts of the earth's land to go underwater and creating really dangerous hurricanes like hurricane Katrina. The average temperature will begin to rise and it because there is a hole in the ozone layer it lets in harmful rays from the sun that can cause skin cancer. The main thing that is causing global warming are fossil fuels. They pollute the earth and release greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane. Here's a couple resources.

it isnt doing anything to our world other than a natural process of heating and cooling. if youre doing a paper on global warming and want actual facts about it, good luck, because nobody has been able to prove its happening, or prove it isnt happening. any argument somebody can come up with to prove it is happening can be countered with arguments that it isnt happening.
the only thing i can tell you is this. right now the sun is going through a really nasty solar cycle which is causing lots of havoc to our planet. its near the end of the cycle it goes through every 15 or 20 years, so things on the planet should start to settle down, if they arent already.
this hubaloo about carbon dioxide being a greenhouse gas is nuts, its a natural occuring process of breathing. id think the planet would have found a way to fix itself of us long before it would have come to this point, if CO2 was a 'pollutant.'
either way, good luck on trying to find any credible sources, the whole global warming thing is more of a political movement than an enviromental idea.
