Well sometimes you have to take it and declare aloud that you've got it. You have responsibilities to yourself as well. If you value your ability to be of value to other people, then think of it this way, the better off you are, then the more capable you will be when helping other people in need.
I have this really altruistic friend who because of his kindness he really sucked in business. But he got to read this book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and he realized that he can help more people if he made enough for himself first. And now he is doing well financially and he is still a great guy all around anyway.
The same thing should go for your other needs, not just finances. Make room for yourself and make yourself a better person first. Mother Theresa helped less people in the world with her altruism than say Bill Gates with his capitalism (are you using windows?).

Life belongs to life and the creator of life (who or whatever that is).
My life is on temporary loan to me until it ends. So is everybody else's.
We are all temporary and awfully unimportant in the universe.
I'm just grateful for the seat and the experience!

My life belongs to God. Everything else in my life helps to determine the decisions I make to take my life to different levels. Our choices are ours, we were given that freedom when we were created. You never have to do anything you do...you choose to do what you do.

Interesting question -
Well, I guess it doesn't matter who it belongs to, I am the one responsible for it.

Life is made up of choices...
We choose to give a part of our life away or keep it just to us. We choose to give our life to God or keep it for ourselves.
If a person wants to keep their life all to them, than they would be a loner. Never marry, never have kids, never share it with friends, and yes, never have responsibilities either. If you have responsibilities it is because you choose not to be a leach and live your life at others expense.
I guess, our lives were meant to be shared and not kept to ourselves.

Yes, your life belongs to you. There are tugs every which way, but ultimately you are you. This cannot be taken away from you.

No, you life by fate... Whatever coices you make in this life is already fated. So simply life is a play, and you play your part in this drama... (of course by doing what the script says)
