As women, we get a lot of benefits from having children. I mean, it's great to have someone who is dependent on you and loves you unconditionally, and who you can take care of, and besides that, if you spend a lot of time with your kids people think you're awesome.

But do guys get the same benefits from having children? It seems like they get congratulated for getting a girl pregnant, but they don't get a lot of praise if they put their family ahead of their job. I mean, their wife might like the extra help, but they don't get a lot of praise from their friends.

Guys get the same things if they are intuned with the family. Business men who work all hours of the night probably do not, however most men enjoy a family. Several guys are upset because they can't have kids.

Having a family makes the family whole.

Women are the nuturers and men are not. So that's a biggy right off the bat. Men get a lot out of parenting though but in different ways than a woman. For boys sports and even with girls. Getting involved in their child's life through sports, music, camping, whatever. It's just that a woman im MOM and nothing can top that.
