stop the war. jail the crooks in power. gosh, looks like you failed to mention the two most important problems facing this country.

The most important issues for me would be; 1) global warming, 2) universal health care, and 3) education. Of course this will require money and money comes from taxes. Personally I am willing to pay for all three of these things.

I think all of these things are extrememly importatnt BUT immigration covers a lot of territory. Think about it. If we had immigration under control would are taxes be so high? Would we need so much MORE security at Government offices? Airports Borders? Hospitals wouldn'ty have to close b/c they bankrupt from illegals being treated under USA laws & taxpayers footing the bill The would now have Social Security #s & if they didnt pay it would go thier credit report. Would'nt this ONE THING help in many ways?? I have only mentioned a few but just REALLY think about it. Also think about the lives lost by drunk drivers (illegals) & drugs brought in that would not have happened IF our borders were secure. Immigration covers so much in my book definately the most important.

alternate fuels. alternate energy would help alleviate global warming, be an excellent market opportunity to boost the economy, and ease global tensions over hydrocarbon resources. if we wait til too late---ugh, i hate to even think.
