1. it's about 110% the size of the US. (3.6 to 3.9 million sq miles, or something like that)
2. the US is almost 10 times larger in population. (300 million to 34 million)
3. the Nile is 4,000 miles long, the longest river in the world. the Rio Grande is much shorter (not much more than 1,000, I'm guessing).
4. Mt. Logan is about 19,000 feet, compared to Denali/Mt McKinley, which is more than 20,000 feet.
5.Lake Ontario
6. which nation or which region? US or Canada? In Canada, the Iroquois... in the US, probably a southeastern nation (not sure. Cherokees? Creek?)
7. Alaska (1300 miles, more or less)
8. the midwest, I assume
9. earthquake, forest fire, avalanche, winter (if that counts)
10. Winnipeg metro region is about 1/2 million. that's the best I can do.
