my mom doesnt want anyone to get a piercing until we turn 18. does anyone kno how to convince her?

ask her for reasons why she opposes the piercing and come up with rebuttals...can't argue if you don't know the argument

i would just wait until you're 18 and see how you feel about it then. I got one when I was almost 15 and yeah, I mean no damage done, I guess, but you don't really understand how young you are at the time until you look back on it. You have the rest of your life to get pierced; you're a kid once, don't take that for granted.

WHY?
Most people take it out when they start working, it is not professional and you have a hole on your tongue that will not seal....
I agree with your mom, don't get a pierced tongue, most people take the visible piercing out when they starts professional jobs. Unless you want to be .... tatoo master?

I don't really like how tongue piercings look, either. Maybe you should wait till you're 18, and see how you feel about it then.

Just don't do it. Your tounge will rot and get infected. That's what happened to my cousin.

dont convince her. dont get it. i find it utterly disgusting.. and it ruins the way you talk as well.
