i need help solveing some equations, i dont ned the answer but i want to know how to do them

x-(-4)=15

8x-2=2(x+5)

(Q1) x-(-4)=15
x+4=15
x=15-4
x=11 <==answer

(Q2) 8x-2=2(x+5)
8x-2=2x+2(5)
8x-2=2x+10
8x-2x=10+2
6x=12
x=12/6
x=2 <==answer

(Q3) x/10=-2
x/10=-2
x=-2(10)
x=-20 <==answer

i'll try. here u go:

x-(-4)=15 can also be written as x + 4=15. minusing a neg # is equavilent to adding a pos #.

x + 4= 15
-4 -4
x = 11


8x-2=2(x+5)
distributive property 8x-2= 2x+10
-2x -2x
6x-2= 10
+2 +2
6x= 12
x= 2

Just move things around until you get x's on one side and numbers on the other.
