For developed western cultures in most certainly is not a hard life, we live well and want for very little! Society is now more abundant than it has ever been before, wages are higher, prices are cheaper and choice is greater. We have far more than we actually need for our survival.
Anybody in our culture who says that life is hard should spare a thought for the poor cultures of the world, it is a sad fact that these people work very long hours to try and feed their families and reap very little rewards.
Did you know that more than half the people of the world have never made or received a phone call (look it up, it is true), kind of puts it into perspective doesn't it?

Because no matter how rich, how happy, or lucky you are, everyone encounters pain and suffering at some point. And many millions of people in the world never experience the taste of clean water, the satisfied feeling of a full stomach, or the gift of an education.

Also - just as we are becoming wise and clued up about this world, we begin to age and then die.

On the plus side, there are many good things about life too.....kittens, chocolate, flying in an airplane, love, or something as simple as singing a song!

I know that people are giving anwsers saying that it is because they dont' have God in their life, or that they are a bad person, or something else like that, but the truth is....

WE ALL HAVE PROBLEMS, AT ANY GIVEN TIME!

Those who say that things are easy either are oblivious to that fact, or just are in complete denial.

The best thing that we need to do is accept this fact and live on. If we worry about all of the frustrating details of this and that, then we will get overwhelmed. We need to just relax and take it one step at a time, and it may not be easy, but it pays off in the end.

Take it from a perfectionist who needs to find out everything for themselves...lol.

it's not anymore, we just think it is because we are trying ti live the perfect lives. we all have cookers, TVs washing machines, modern bathrooms to wash. this is all obvious but only a few years ago many people did not have these things and spent many hours every day for the basic necessities and even having enough food for the family was a major concern. we have everything we need today and have life easy. if you are taking about emotional or health issues well that is all down to our own judgement and a little bit of luck.

To some extent it's as hard as you make it. Certain hardships can be avoided. But for those ones that can't...well it's reality. Everything has an opposite..and if there is happyness in this world..there has to be an opposite. Unfortunately, theres so much more unhappyness then happyness. It's sad, but it's reality.
