Education helps but if you really want to be a CEO all you need is your will to do so, and build a good team

Depends - some CEOs have their Ph.d's and others are college dropouts such as Bill Gates. Why don't you look at the websites of large companies in the industry you're interested in . The website should have an "About us" section with biographies of their officers and/or board of directors. This should give you an idea of the educational and work experience background these people have.

There aren't specific education requirements - it's the person who manages to climb to the top of the corporation.

I just met someone who fills this position and he has a masters degree. Hope this helps some.
