An internet search on their name is the easiest.
If you don't know the names, look up the results of some major competitions like Blackpool http://www.blackpooldancefestival.net/ and get the names, and then do the search. Here is a website that has bio type of information but not really the biographies. http://dancesportinfo.net/

I would start with the internet and also books at the library. Also, take a ballroom dance class. You will learn the history of dancing, what the pros are doing now, and have a lot of fun learning it. It's wonderful exercise, and a good way to meet other people if you are single. If you have a significant other, take the class together. It will give you common ground, and a good alternative to standard movies.

Ballroom dancing is really becoming popular again. It's great fun.
