I don't want to find help with one, and I don't mean a priest or rabbi, which would mean religion. I mean spirituality (one finding their own God-centeredness) mixed with counseling. I am interested in becoming a counselor that has a spiritual flavor.
Sorry if I was not very clear with that.

One could go to a priest or minister, but there are some people trained as spiritual directors and there are some therapists who provide treatment geared to people who have a spiritual bent. Choosing a spiritual counselor is a tricky business. I would suggest that you look for a very prayerful person who is also aware of and practiced meditation techniques. You may also want someone who is closer to your own theological tendencies. Don't be surprised by who you find. When I used to visit a Sufi community in New York, some of the people there told me that they sought spiritual direction from a local auto mechanic who happened to be a deeply spiritual person. The point is depth of spirituality knows no boundaries.
