Like when I talk to gay people, they totally laugh when someone cracks off a mean gay joke, but I don't see this in different minoritys, why is this..?

I think gay jokes are funny. Most of the stereotypes of gay people are true for a lot of gays making the jokes even funnier.

Some people and groups have thin skin and no sense of humor and some are looking for a lawsuit to win big if you should insult them in some way.

do some more research before saying we are even a minority. We are not a different race or religion. why not laugh when other stoop so low to laugh at us anyway. we should stand up and laugh with them. i want to be ther better person here. wouldnt you???

Laughing can be a nervous reaction to a very uncomfortable situation. Gays are conditioned from early on to feel uncomfortable with their sexuality, and it sticks with many of them for life.
