I always try to do the right thing. That way, I don't have to remember what I did wrong, and I can live with myself in the morning. I don't like the idea of looking in the mirror and not liking the person I see.

Well, I would never, ever steal from a family-owned business or personal property. But I hate big money, power hungry corporations, so I will steal from those. Sometimes if it is a dumb law made for prejudice reasons and to get the government rich, I will break it. But other than that, I will do the "right" or legal thing. I would never backstab anyone. That is low.

I typically do the right thing simply because I'm the type of person who doesn't get away with anything. I can't lie to save my life so it's easier to just not bother.

I try very hard to always do the right thing and try to live by the Golden Rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." If you think about this whenever that little niggling feeling comes into you and makes you doubt what you are doing, then you are more likely to choose the right thing.

Unfortunately, I'm human and my "id" will sometimes over ride my "super ego" and go for what makes me the happiest.

if i do something i know is wrong i can't go throught the day without thinking less of myself. by the time i'd get home i would be an emtional wreck. so much so i'd have to call the person and apologize. my parents think this is a wonderful trait. i think it sucks. i'd be the worst bank robber in the world! i would probably bake cupcakes and send it to the bank saying i'm sorry and telling them where to find the money. hahaha yep but that's just me.

It always ends up being easier on the conscience to do the right thing... and I don't have to make up lies to cover the old lies.

Right is right. Wrong is wrong. I can make enough mistakes on my own without intentionally trying.
