Why do you think they use anorexic looking over thin body types for Fashion models that look like death warmed over to me? I thought possibly it had something to do with a prepubescent preadolescent body type (Pedophilia) but someone claimed the fashion designers cannot afford to use more material because it is expensive so they use thinner models...yeah sure

They want somebody that looks like a clothes hanger, yuck. I know what you mean, some of those models are so thin they look like they can hardly walk from starvation.

they use skinny models because the clothing looks better on them. lets just be real, nobody wants to see lumps and cellulite ruining designer clothes. half of what you see on the runway isnt everyday clothing so why use everyday people? why would you want to see just anyone walking down the runway. a lot of fashion is aspirational, they want you to think that if you wear this or that you will be thinner, happier etc. not everyone can be a model so get over it, they make their living over what they look like. models fit the image that the designer has in mind.thats not a job everyone can do. people should stop looking to the media and other people to see how they should look. i'm a size 10 but i dont feel angry or jealous of models.

It's because designing for women with no curves is much easier then with curvers here and there or everywhere. It is much easier to design for "stick thin" models stick thin explaining it. Sure it's not nessacarly right but it's easiet for designers. I think designers should take the time to try to design clothes for curvier models.

I agree it is horrible
Like Britney Spears is a size 6 and no longer a zero. Gosh, I never was a size 6 or zero.
I think we as the consumers need to fight it.
I think the fuller figured women are perfect

i dunno why. maybe you're right.
but yeah it looks so hideous all the
scrawny little things walking down
the runway as if they could snap any
minute!
i think that they should use healthy, regular
sized models instead of pitty the reg.
sized people who aren't all waif-y.
