Is there any way to recondition your mind from associating a certain song with a place, person and time? Or is your auditory cortex doomed to forever associate the song with the past?

I don't think you can, I like you associate songs and places and people and its great to hear a song and think of a person or remember a place.however if you are heartsick and missing someone and a song comes on it can hurt. But I don't think you can just erase it from your memory..better to just do what I do and change the channel or turn off the t.v.

I surely have suggested this until now yahoo needs to and a IQ attempt to this place!! myself like many others do unlike hip hop or rap by way of picture administration on it in case you look lower back on the 80s you had all those huge hair bands , interior the 70s you had disco , the checklist co instructed them what to placed on , a thank you to act what to sing. there have been bands that have been huge then on the grounds that they had the image down pat. the comparable element is occurring now with hip hop or rap in case you will , gangster rap and vaguer words by way of fact some archives say that's what you prefer to pay attention. you are the only that noted the race card , yet somewhat interior the 60s whilst " non white human beings " had much less rights than they do at present , human beings pay attention to music ,it did not rely who wrote it or sang it if it replaced into an excellent music you pay attention to it as for white rappers v. ice replaced into placed available as a gangster the place replaced into he from?? like i suggested image is each little thing to three to not others. perhaps you need to hear the music and the words and not worry on the topic of the main dazzling image. don't be a sheep
