Here's a couple of topics:
1. A kid offers to watch his girlfriend's hamster while she's away for the week. But he realizes he left the cage door open and has a heck of a time trying to catch it before she gets back or his parent's find out.
2. A boy gets a job in order to be able to afford the newest game system. Once he gets enough money, he has trouble deciding wether or not to keep the job.
3. An old man feeds the pigeons in the park every day. He relaizes how dull his life has become and decides to take up skydiving.

Guy picks up a hitchhiker. It is Death. Death is a funny, rather charming chap. Says he's late for an appointment. Complaints how tiring it is to do his job all the time, how he wishes he were an insurance salesman or something. After some great conversation, Death says he can be let out at the next corner. Switch to scene of the cops investigating the accident in which the guy was killed. ....

How about an animal story in third person. Like life from the dogs point of view or a babies or any inanimate objects like cars or trees or something.

Joan slowly crept along the dark hallway. She heard strange yet quiet noises. As she walked further to explore what was happening, she could feel that the walls were slimy. Joan saw a bit of light in front of her at the end of the dark hallway. Goose bumps crawled upwards along her arms and she felt cold without her jacket. Suddenly, she heard a voice whispering something she couldn’t understand. Joan took a frightened step and suddenly fell into a deep black pit.

So , write about a robot who is being shipped over to australlia from Asia, and the plane crashes on a mysterious creepy island, where he finds a monkey, named Bonkers, and Bonkers trys to kill the robot because he thinks that he is the king of the island . that and hes a robot eating monkey, but they resolve the conflict by choosing that they are both the kings and they become best friends forever

stories abot boys and there dogs always work but i will see wha I can comew up with ..ok here goesI live in a small town there is only one high school in my area all the teens know each other.I am the captian of my high chool football team and it was ythe first day of try outs there was a new guy who just moved here and was triing out.....

how about a kid who accidentally shoots his best friend? mine shot me when i was 15 and i got a lot of good mileage out of it when it came to writing short stories in school....
the best part was describing more of what the kid who shot me might be feeling and not was i was feeling. kinda different.

Find an appropriate topic, that people would like to read about.
You have topics like:
Fashion
Food
Places
Hobbies
Etc.
You could also have a fantasy topic or any other topic that you make up.
