I doubt that Jesus would have applied any artificial political label to Himself. Unlike too many so-called 'conservatives' and 'liberals' today who don't even know the true definitions of the terms, Jesus would have probably considered Himself to be more of a libertarian or independent instead of going along with any party line just because Al Franken or Rush Limbaugh says so. -RKO- 09/25/07

Hmm...I think of Jesus as more of a libertarian. It seems like he espoused individual voluntary contributions to the poor, not having the government take your money and redistribute it. Also, he likely would have been personally conservative on social issues, but wouldn't have wanted government enforcement of those conservative stances.

Yes and he gave us some great ideas to guide us at the Sermon on the Mount its a pity many Christians choose to ignore them and interpret them to suit their own agenda
