Just because they would be drafted doesn't mean a thing.
Because they are the president's daughters they would be kept in some office here in the states.
They would never see combat.
Not bush's daughters, but they might be seen in any number of the Texas pick-up bars.
Those girls sure are loved down in the Cancun, Mexico, where they posed in nothing more than their smiles and a bottle of beer in their hands, for local cameramen.
Yes - well loved!

If Hillary's daughter was drafted to fight in Iraq, would she have supported this war so vehemently? How about the other scores of democrats who voted for this war?
Still, your question is an old and tired one that ignores the FACT that when there is a war to fight for this country, it's generally the conservatives that fight it...the half a dozen liberals who get drunk and show up at the Army recruiting station does not a trend make.

If it only worked like that, but as we can see from Bushs own record, the rich and lazy got their butts out even in a draft. At least Clinton, neither rich nor lazy won a Rhodes scholarship.Bush just went to the dentist and never returned. No one remembers going to the National Guard with the man who would become president. Amazing.
Why is it you think we don't have a draft? No one wants to try and justify this war with people who don't want to fight an Iraqi civil war, and our war with Saddam is over.
He won't stop the war, its his personal jihad.
The Republicans in Congress will not listen to the people and
end the war until the people tell them they will not be reelected. Then there will be the sixty votes in the Senate that are needed for America to come back to itself and out of the neocon darkness.

That's pretty stretchy.
First, there's no draft.
Second, if there was, we don't draft women.
Third, if we did for some reason, the children of rich people and politicians are given cushy spots in the Texas Air National Guard, as the President himself is well aware.
So no, in that extremely unlikely set of circumstances, he probably still wouldn't stop the war.
