You know, when you're gonna be on there a while...do you stay in the left lane(fast lane),stay in the lane you'll need to be in to exit (no matter how far ahead that is) or jump lanes depending on which one is moving the fastest?

I tend to remain in the fast lane however if the other lanes are moving faster I will use them. As far as going into the right lane for exit use. Yes that would be the case. Trying to go from the left lane at the last second is not only rude it's very dangerous and can cause a serious accident.

Unless there's more than two lanes I stay to the right except to pass, the so-called fast lane should be kept clear for emergency vehicles, once you've passed all the slower vehicles why stay there anyway?

I generally stay in the right side lane; I set my cruise control at an even 100.........(kilometers per hour that is....I love the metric system)

That way, you have tons of space in front of you, so you're less likely to get in an accident. And if you do get in an accident, you're less likely to get killed, when you're only going 65.

Plus you'll save lots of gas.

I don't understand why people feel they have to always be getting ahead, always so desperate to get where they are going, that they feel they have to risk their lives and waste gas by going fast. Isn't driving dangerous enough already? Speeding is only going to save you maybe a minute and a half at most...We should all just slow down a little bit, and learn to enjoy the ride......

I'm certainly not in a hurry to get to work. (If people behind me don't like it, they are welcome to pass...)

Well, OK, I'm done ranting for now........
