Sorry if this question offends people, but why is it that so many guys get girls pregnant and then take off? What would motivate them to do something like that?

A lot of times the guy never wanted a baby and the girl gets pregnant thinking that will make him stay.It takes 2 to tango and it's up to both partners to think of protection.

Guys do this because all they wanted is sex in the first place and no baby. It doesn't make any difference to them if the girl becomes pregnant. They have no love in there heart for the girl or care anything about her or the baby. The girl he claims to have cared about becomes despicable to him once she becomes pregnant. These guys only care about themselves and what they want and no one else. They don't want a commitment with the mother or the child or anyone else. They just want to live their lives the way they want as a single person with no responsibilities. The movitation is selfishness, immaturity, cold-heartedness and uncaring. Regardless of the reason a woman becomes pregnant is never an excuse for a guy to run off and desert their child.

sometimes because the girl lies and says she cannot get pregnant and the boy or man is dumb enough to believe her and does not use a condom! and then surprise the bimbo comes up pregnant no surprise to her but a huge shock to him,especially if he was just killing time with her till something better came along.and it did and he left no big surprise especially if he was married to someone else at the time.he really wanted no kind of a future with her and is ticked off that she has his kid when most of the time he doesn't want anyone to know he was ever desperate enough to have sex with her!!!i know this because it happened just like that to my second husband!!! he should have been smarter but he wasn't!!! there are no winners in this situation just losers especially the unwanted kids!!! good luck.so he has a 9 year old that he cares nothing about and her mom was so stupid and lazy all 4 of her kids were taken away for neglect-many times.they are being raised by their maternal aunt and grandma and not a father for any of them!!it is sickening really!most guys are not thrilled if a girl they may just be dating or seeing sometime says she is pregnant most will run!! that is why sex can wait,till after marriage!

There are guys who are so into sex but doesn't have the balls to enter into a commitment. That is why when the girl gets pregnant, they are so afraid of the commitment and take off. But mostly I think its because the guy doesn't love the girl that much or they are not yet ready to get serious with anybody just yet..

Why do girls let guys get them pregnant? You want to be loved/liked and have his attention - guys just want to have fun but you are left with the concequences if you have unprotected sex. It could be a baby or a disease. Honor and respect your self and your body and make sure and guy you are with will do the same. Dont be used -- save it for the man you marry -- He will prove he honors and respects you and comits his love to you BEFORE you have sex.

well I guess guys are stupid at such a young age. I guess they have no idea what they put the girl through, some guys do it just for fun, those guys are the cruelest.
