That would be great for ASU. But they don;t have the money or the resources. ASU is still paying ex head coach Kotter after Athletic Director Lisa Love sign him to a nice contract extension only to be fired. ASU will be lucky if Erickson can last here and finish his contract considering the checkered pass he had at Miami. I take it your a Sun Devil fan? Its will be just wait and see when the wheels start falling for Erickson at ASU. I still question why ASU hired him after having football player Loren Wade took the life of an ex teammate Brandon Faulkner

yeah, but why would he go to Arizona State? UF is much BETTER than Arizona State and he is making the big money in a 7 year deal. Do you really think Meyer is going to leave a school that he just won a national championship with, pays him tons of money, and has already established itself as one of the top 5 programs in college football? Uhh, NO!
Would you trade in a nice house for an ugly house that needs to be totally redone? That is basically what you are saying Meyer is going to do.

It was Oregon State buddy not Idaho that he put on the map again. Now Arizona State is ranked again. Anyways we don't need Urban Meyer in the pac-10 only to leave a year later. Anyways Arizona State can't beat Cal or USC!

Here is why and you give no reasons? This is one of the lamest questions I've heard in a long time.
Why would he go from making 6-8 million dollars a year, anything he wants, massive exposure, easy recruiting, in the best conference in NCAA, to go to a school that doesn't sell out games, is luke warm towards their college sports, and has temperatures over 110. Whatever.
I want to win the lottery too. I think I'll dream for that to happen. Come on.

I really don't think so. Meyer would fit, except he demands a high price after winning the BCS championship game with Florida. Also, there really is no incentive other than trying to get a team not known for their football program to a bowl.

Why would he leave Florida to go to Arizona State? They haven't been good in at least 10 years.

Yeah, thats a great dream but you should really snap out of it and come back to reality. The only way he'd be coach at ASU is if he left Florida in disgrace - and then you probably wouldn't want him.

He wouldn't leave the national champion for Arizona State...I suppose money talks, but I suspect ASU wouldn't have enough to match Florida...
