No and you have in wrong in California...need to be a member of the California State Bar and admission to the Bar is limited to law school graduates who have passed the Bar.

You cannot be a prosecutor in any state without being a lawyer first, meaning, thank God, you need to go to law school. Imagine, if just anyone could get the job... Why, next we'll have presidents who can't spell....

Legally, you have to pass the Bar Exam. Technically, that may not require attending law school, but it would be EXTREMELY rare to pass the bar without going to law school.
