I not sure, but, I think a person needs to be 17 or older to donate. I give you a link and maybe it help. If, it was closer to Halloween you could have a Dress as a Vampire and Give Blood day. May sound stupid, but, with thought it could be made fun too,

Students in High School should not be asked to donate blood for any reason and it should be illegal.
They may have illnesses that need to remain confidential.
Peer pressure could make some children unnecessarily uncomfortable or forced to lie.
There was a time when unsuspecting individuals including children were infected by HIV by being given a tainted blood transfusion.
It is a very noble endeavor which is being undertaken but please think of other factors aside from just getting caught up in a cause.

• "stop each and all the Jazz-ma, Donate your plasma!" • "that is black, that is white, that is crimson throughout: Any and all races welcome to donate blood." • "Come for the foodstuff....stay, and keep a life." • tell each and all the ladies that Edward Cullen from Twilight would be drawing the blood from them.
