Liberals aren't communists. Some are. Some are socialists. Some are both. Some are the valuable and true liberals described in the dictionary.

I am a democrat. Not a liberal, not a socialist. Some fight the Patriot Act because they fear the power it gives the state to take away our rights (whether it is true or not, necessary in war time or not).
It has always been our task to protect our rights. It is the primary interest of democrats.

I do wonder at the motives of others in the party, who seem to not care about anything but being "anti-republican". Class and race division are essential to a socialist take-over, and it is important that we do everything we can to remove political bigotry by simply being intolerant of it.

Then, no matter what socialist or communists do, they will not be able to split us apart.

I would rather stand with Republicans than tolerate socialists.

Blah blah...liberal vs conservative, democrat vs republican...this two party system is boring. America's politics are very tiresome. The largest "third party" is the Libertarian party and most people aren't aware of what it stands for. How sad. So to answer your question, the two party system is to blame. If Amerikans would bother moving beyond this retarded two party system there would be room for communists and socialists and fascists in the political system. Until then, one side will just resort to calling the other side communist or fascist as a derogatory epithet since no real communists or fascists exist in the amerikan political arena.

final time I checked, the patriot act would not get rid of the main dazzling to endure hands. What it does do is supplies the government the main dazzling to seek somebody's domicile all at once them first. modification IV the main dazzling of the folk to be take care of of their persons, homes, papers, and outcomes, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall concern, yet upon probable reason, supported via oath or confirmation, and somewhat describing the situation to be searched, and the persons or issues to be seized. word it says probably reason. Because the Patriot Act does not sponsor or promote a police state, it's a bill designed to protect Americans from terrorists. The Patriot Act does not provide socialised medicine, food, 4 hour work days, or any other communist idealogy.
