A dog will deficate anywhere if it has to go bad enough. My boss has a dog that is nervous and will do that if he gets scared and upset. Maybe something upsets and scares your dog when he is riding in the car.

Lots of dogs have trouble with car rides. I've seen them pee, poop, vomit... all sorts of stuff they'd never do anywhere else.

Try not to feed him for a few hours before car rides, and make sure he takes a long walk beforehand. You could try some of the natural travel aides with chamomile or l-tryptophan in them to help too.

Yes! The same thing happened to me when I left my dog in my Bronco all night because he wouldn't get out! He pooped in there and chewed off my visor! He also chewed on my seats! I was so pissed I ended up giving it away! (The Bronco!)

If this happened while you were driving, maybe you need to leave the dog home! Maybe you are scaring the poop out of your dog!

Hes probley nervouse from being in the car. Try putting him in a kennel thats not to small but doesnt give alot of room only enough room to turn around and lay down, because they dont want to lay in it.

Yes Yes Yes, we used to have a dog that got car sick. Sometimes she would puke and other times she would take a crap. What a bummer. We thought if we took her in the car more she would get used to it. Well she didnt!

If your dog is laying a deuce in the car, you should probably stop taking your dog for rides in your car.

yes, He can't help it. he gets so excited, he sharts! Maybe you should let him go poopy-dingding first before taking him on a ride.
If it makes you feel better, whenever Grind from Alice in Chains comes on, Muddy will howl. He'll only do it to that song. And everytime.

you should probably walk your dog more before taking him for rides in the car, it would also be a good idea not to feed him right before a car ride

What you are feeding it,has nothing to do with it. If ,while traveling you don't stop & let your dog out,well- when you have to go,you have to go!! If you was cooped up & couldn't get to a bathroom, you eventually would have to relieve yourself!
