I am a terrible sleeper, as is my Dad and my late Grandma. I usually get just 3 or 4 hours a night. My husband, on the other hand, can full asleep sitting up, remote clutched firmly in hand.

I sleep like the dead. My ex got scared as heck on time cause he could not tell if I was breathing or not. I slept through jets flying low over a campground one time. I incorporate my alarm clock buzzer into dreams where I am desparately trying to find the source of the awful noise. I can drink a pot of coffee and go right to sleep. I often wonder if that is normal LOL

I am if I take advantage of a window of opportunity-when I feel sleepy. If I miss that then I may be awake for awhile. Regardless of how late I stay up I still wake up early. I am not grumpy but I will be sluggish and unmotivated to do anything.

Yes, I am a good sleeper. It takes about 3 minutes to fall asleep and I sleep "solid" until the next morning. I'm a Lucky person.

Me too, I'm a terrible sleeper.
Have you tried taking some exercise during the day, such as a very brisk walk or a light jog / bike ride? I do find that when my muscles are tired, it helps me to drop off nicely. (A bit like when you have a cold, and you're all achey!)
Or you could try meditation - your local college might do a nightclass on it, or you could try searching online. It's very easy to do, it's free, and it centres your mind before sleepy time.

No I'm not. It's around 2 am no matter what time I get up in the mornings before I get sleepy. If I go to bed before that I just lay there watching TV or looking around

Lately I've been waking up a lot during the night, then falling asleep at the drop of a hat during the day!

I am because I need a lot of sleep! I can't function otherwise, I mean, I think I'm the only grade ten who goes to bed at nine by choice! I read 'till ten if I don't crash first.
