My husband wears suits everyday and his dress shirts have faint stains around the collar. What's the best pre-treatment product I can use before I wash them or take them to the cleaners?

Depends on the material.. you can take your powdered laundry soap mix it with a small amount of water until it becomes a paste then let it soak on the spot.. You can mix baking soda with water and make a paste and use it liike above.. You can also purchase products like spray and wash stain sticks to take out the stain. If you have a really bad stain you can use dawn dish washing liquid and yes it does work.. All of the above work on various fabrics and stains.. so good luck in finding the one that works best for you..

Oxy clean!

Mix powder with water to make a wet paste, wet the stained area of fabric, rub paste into it and let sit for an hour or so, or overnight. Wash as usual in hot water.

OR

Soak in a bucket or sink with an equal mix of peroxide & hot water until stain has lifted, was as usual in hot water.

(oxy-clean is color safe, peroxide is not.)

SA8 pre-wash is the best. It is an Amway product.

whisk detergent used to tout themselves as the best but really any laundry detergent will do as a pretreater, even dish detergent like dawn will help. tell him to wash his neck more and he wouldn't have need of the pre-treat..tisk tisk tisk
