I agree with that dude who said the world's greatest guitarist is like playing in a bar or something in a lil' town...I think there is SOOOO much undiscovered talent out there and unfortunately a lot of it will most likely remain undiscovered.. And then there's people who genuinely can't sing (or play an instrument but it's mainly singing) who get a record deal because of their connections and have their voice altered to within an inch of it's life...but then I suppose a lot of that is down to the music industry today. But I think it's worth noting that some songs people write are REALLY personal and have basically been written to allow the artist to release something. So maybe not all songs were meant to be widely known or even known by one other person other than he/she who wrote it. Anyway, yeah I see your point. Maybe you see mine :-)
